Account Payables Officer

Job Purpose

To be responsible for supporting the Head Unit in managing all the accounts payable by ensuring the accurately and timely recording and settling while performing accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete, and that accounts payable ledgers and journals are up to date.
  • Take part in investigating and providing recommendation for resolving the account payable discrepancies or other related issues.
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and reconciliation on accounts payable transaction.
  • Prepare any related supporting documentation for reconciliations on account payable.
  • Follow the related processes, internal rules that have been guided by team leader.
  • Collaborate and engage in the relevant team within the unit to ensure the Bank and team objectives are achieved.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and Banking or related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience in banking, preferred in accounting field.
  • Good recording, filing, classifying, reporting skills, time management and task management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate the initiative and propose ideas for improvement.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.

Job Purpose

To focus on ensuring that the Bank’s cash balance holding in other banks for both local and oversea are accurately reconciled with the Bank’s accounting ledgers while comparing and matching the Bank’s internal records with the statements or balance provided by the correspondent banks, identifying the discrepancy and communicated to relevant business unit in the Bank for resolving in the timely manner.

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports regarding all cash deposits to the bank(s).
  • Investigate all transactions in order to detect fraudulence transaction.
  • Perform the reconciliation and verification of accounts regarding cash on hand and cash at bank.
  • Keep inform the team member and branches/other department on the mistake or error in preparation pending in listing bank reconciliation report after reviewing to mitigate the error.
  • Prepare ticket and upload/post the transaction of payment on audit confirmation balance fee charge and service charge on monthly maintenance by local and oversea nostro account.
  • Maintain required files, reports, and data.
  • Prepare monthly listing for International Credit rating of counterparty from Credit Rating Companies.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum one year of working experience in banking, accounting experience is an advantage.

Senior Treasury FX Control Officer

Job Purpose

To provide highly professional FX buy/sell market analysis, consultation and negotiation of special exchange rates with local and overseas clients by adhering to Foreign Exchange Procedure of the Bank in order to maintain optimal position of the Bank FX services in the market and successfully close deal with clients at very competitive exchange rates.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Prepare daily calculations of foreign exchange (FX) position in order to serve as reference for buy/sell operations.
  • Research, source and quote foreign currency buying and selling exchange rates from valid and relevant local and international websites/institutions in order to maintain optimal position of FX services in the market to successfully close deal with clients at very competitive exchange rates as well as adhere to Foreign Exchange Procedure of ABA Bank.
  • Provide special exchange rates quotation to clients referred from the Bank’s frontlines in timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate, negotiate and sell/buy currency with both local and overseas clients to obtain best exchange rates ensuring profitability of services.
  • Keep Update the Bank’s standard FX rates in systems as soon as there are FX fluctuations to promptly inform team and clients as well as minimize any financial/reputational risks associated with it.
  • Prepare FX reports as following:

1. FX reports and market analysis,

2. Realized gain/loss report of FX services.

  • Maintain proper recordings of all FX reports and related documents to ensure secured and accessible data both hard and soft copies.
  • Introduce and provide training to frontline/internal teams regarding Treasury Dealing and FX Control agenda to keep them informed of new/changed services, policies and/or procedures.
  • Partake in development of working tool, process and procedure with Head Unit/Department in order to improve/introduce new initiatives.
  • Regularly evaluate own targets – when results fall short of target, understand why and agree what to do differently to improve performance with line manager;
  • Keep a close eye on local competitors – what they do and how they perform in order to propose new sales opportunity to gain market share;
  • Keep up-to-date with ABA’s products suites and marketing campaigns to ensure superior product knowledge provided to clients.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking, Accounting or relevant field.
  • Minimum two year of working experiences in treasury, finance/accounting, telling area, or relevant field preferably in financial industry.
  • Basic understanding of FX, treasury dealing, money exchange, or financial literacy.
  • Basic knowledge of the bank branch operations, rules and regulations, and operational risks.
  • Good communication, negotiation, customer services, presentation, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make sound judgement and common sense.
  • Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English and/or other languages.
  • Microsoft Office (advanced Ms. Excel is preferred) and Bank’s software.

Power Systems Management:

  • Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of power distribution systems, including uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, and electrical panels to ensure continuous and reliable power to all equipment.

Cooling Systems Optimization:

  • Design, implement, and maintain effective cooling solutions to ensure optimal temperature and humidity levels for IT equipment including managing HVAC systems, in-row and in-rack cooling, and environmental monitoring.

Rack Space Management:

  • Manage the allocation, installation, and optimization of rack space for servers and other hardware.
  • Ensure installation of power, cooling, and facility systems, ensuring work is completed to specification and within agreed timelines.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all data center systems, including electrical diagrams, cooling plans, and space allocations.
  • Provide regular status reports and incident updates to management.

Incident Management & Support:

  • Respond to critical incidents related to power, cooling, or facility issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure data center continuity.
  • Perform data center facility maintenance monthly.
  • Ensure proper cable management, equipment placement, and space utilization to maximize operational efficiency and safety.

Facility Control & Monitoring:

  • Implement and maintain facility control systems to monitor and control environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, airflow, and electrical usage.
  • Respond to alarms and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Infrastructure Maintenance & Upgrades:

  • Plan and execute routine and emergency maintenance of data center infrastructure.
  • Implement upgrades and improvements to increase efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and enhance reliability.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure the data center adheres to all relevant regulatory and safety standards, including electrical codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
  • Maintain fire suppression and detection systems and oversee safety drills.

Vendor & Contractor Coordination:

  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for the maintenance and installation of power, cooling, and facility systems, ensuring work is completed to specification and within agreed timelines.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, electrical engineering, or relevant fields.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experiences as a Data Center Engineer.
  • Power Systems Profession: Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, UPS systems, backup generators, and electrical safety protocols.
  • Cooling Systems Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, cooling infrastructure design, and environmental control for optimal IT equipment performance.
  • Rack Space Optimization: Expertise in space planning, rack installation, and efficient use of data center floor space for maximum capacity and ease of maintenance.
  • Facility Control Systems: Familiarity with environmental monitoring tools for real-time tracking of data center conditions.
  • Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve power, cooling, and facility-related issues.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage infrastructure projects, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely execution of upgrades or emergency maintenance tasks.
